"Horizon Zero Dawn" is a single player, action role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by robotic creatures. Players control Aloy, a skilled hunter, as she explores the vast open world, uncovers ancient mysteries, and battles mechanical beasts to uncover the truth about her past and the downfall of civilization.

The graphics are stunning, with high-quality visuals that bring the lush environments and robotic creatures to life. The sound design is also top-notch, providing realistic and immersive audio effects, voice acting, and music. But I would like to add when conversing with npc’s (non-playable characters), the character models can look a bit stiff.

The difficulty of the game can be adjusted to suit the player's preference. Some may find certain parts of the game challenging, especially combat encounters with powerful enemies, while others may find it more manageable. The game is around 22 hours long but can be 60 hours or more for 100% completion. The main story provides a satisfying experience without feeling overly short or prolonged. Story sequences between quests add to the immersion and plot, keeping players interested when progressing. Players can save their progress at designated checkpoints throughout the game, while also being able to save anytime they want in the main menu, allowing them to pick up where they left off.

The compass being at the top of the screen makes it easy to follow and navigate throughout the world. There’s also a layout of the map in the menu that is covered by fog and has to be defogged to see the places by physically having to run around the world. The controls are well-designed, making it easy for players to explore the world and engage in combat. Helpful instructions and tutorials are provided to help players learn the basics and new gadgets earned along the way.

"Horizon Zero Dawn" is likely to hold a gamer's interest if played multiple times, thanks to its rich world, engaging story, and deep gameplay mechanics. Optional side quests and activities also provide additional content for replay value. This game is definitely worth playing.
